Gianmarco Raimondo has been racing professionally for over 20 years becoming Vice-Champion of the European F3 Series and the first Canadian to race GP2 (Formula 2), Formula 1’s feeder series. After 7 years of competitive karting, he debuted in the Formula BMW Americas Series as a BMW sponsored driver, winning the Rookie Championship. In his following years, Gianmarco achieved numerous podiums in various open wheel categories in Europe: Formula 3 Italia, Formula 3 Euro Series, Formula 3 European Open, GP2 Series, World Series of Renault, and Auto GP. He then returned to North America to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge, Maserati Trofeo Series, and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge. Now back in his native country, Raimondo has returned to his roots in karting as a driver and coach. With his decades of experience, Gianmarco has used his training and insight in motorsport to establish a career in driver coaching, data analysis, and car development for both professional racing and karting teams.
