United Kingdom

Based in the UK, I’ve enjoyed a long and successful motorcycle career racing all over the world, having raced something competitively each year since 1982.

An International motorcycle racer, with six British Championship titles, an FIM Euro championship, and wins on the ‘pure roads’ at the Macau GP, and the NorthWest 200 in Ireland.

I’ve raced just about every type of motorbike from standard production type machines, through to factory specification and prototype one of a kind motorcycles.

In addition to ‘pure road racing’ and sprint races on closed tracks I’ve also enjoyed much success in World Endurance, in 4, 8 and 24 hour races at iconic circuits like Suzuka and Spa Francorchamps, my stand out achievements getting on the rostrum at the Bol d’Or and being the last Briton to win the Imola 200.

During my career I’ve worked as a test rider for many motorcycle based businesses:

Ferodo brakes, Metzeler tyres, Pirelli tyres

Moto450 development for Road Racing Performance

MuZ – factory machine development, design by Seymour Powell

Harley Davidson – Tigcraft chassis machine development

Jawa – Supermono machine development

Royal Enfield – test rider

I enjoy sharing my wealth of experience and knowledge of the sport, trying to put something back; being a pioneer of the road racing coaching scheme through the UK’s governing body the ACU, I was the first certified commercial road racing coach registered with them, back in 2008; now specialise in bespoke one to one on track coaching, and the production of circuit guides and infovids.
